After knowing Easton since middle school, I was so excited when he asked me to do their engagements and wedding last year! He is such a cool and quiet guy and after meeting Brookelyn I knew she was perfect for him. Her outgoing personality and energy makes their relationship a match made in heaven.
The two originally met in high school when Easton’s family moved back to Texas from Florida and settled down in the Dallas area. They had a class together, and Brookelyn knew when she saw Easton that she had to have him. She went after him and the rest is now history! After high school, Easton ended up moving to Virginia to go the Virginia Military Institute for college while Brookelyn stayed in Texas.
In early January of 2016, Easton took Brookelyn on a trip to Possum Kingdom Lake while he was in town for the holidays. They went hiking and Easton was obviously nervous to get going and rushed Brookelyn out of their cabin. When they reached the top of one of the mountains they climbed, the two found a picnic spot and Easton attempted to set up a hammock. He eventually told Brookelyn to wait while he set up the hammock somewhere else because the trees weren’t holding it up. After a bit he came back and they walked together to their new spot, and Brookelyn knew what was happening when she saw a hand-painted wood sign with her new initials written on it “BNH” with a ring! He asked her to marry him right then and there, and she knows she said yes even though she was crying at this point!
Easton and Brookelyn chose to have their wedding in May at a venue right outside of Forth Worth. Their wedding was a beautiful celebration of both their the years to come as a married couple along with the past years they have spent together. It was beautiful and sunny, but also sweltering outside! Easton also told Brookelyn that he got into State Trooper school right as we were doing couples photos, and her reaction was absolutely priceless! Easton and Brookelyn spent their honeymoon in Austin before moving to Waco to start their new lives together with their Aussie puppy, Remi.
Congratulations to Easton and Brookelyn! Thank you for letting me tell your wonderful story!
